Everything You Need to Know

► Screening, Interviewing, and Shortlisting of Candidates
► Standard Business Sponsorship Application (if no existing SBS is in place)
► Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Accreditation Process Requirements
► Skills Assessment Application for Candidates (if applicable)
► Nomination & Visa Application of Selected Candidates

Occupations such as Panel Beater and Mechanic require a passing Skills Assessment to be eligible under the Skills in Demand (SID) 482 Program. However, nationals of certain countries such as Ghana and Pakistan are not required to undergo this additional process. Please contact us for further details.

► Skills Assessment (if required): can take up to 4 months
► Visa Application: can take up to 2 months
► Philippine Exit Clearance: can take up to 2 weeks upon approval of visa

The current Temporary Skilled Migration Income Threshold (TSMIT), that is, the minimum salary payable for overseas candidates under the 482 program, is set at $73,150.00 per annum and increases every 1st of July.

The DMW is a governing body in the Philippines that oversees the management of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW). Certain documents are required to comply with their regulations when applying for the accreditation process.

We can assist in processing this through our tie-up land-based agency in the Philippines. It is important to note that for this process, OFWs are required to pay an agency fee equivalent to one month's salary upon deployment.

The advantage of going through an authorized recruitment/manning agency is that they are obligated to support the welfare of OFWs even while they are working abroad, offering a layer of protection in case of emergencies.

Note: The agency fee is covered by the workers themselves.
